Bridging the world of sound in Pitlochry
A new week, and the final entry from contributor Dan Tapper‘s tour of Scotland, remixing the sounds he found as he travelled – we’ve already heard Edinburgh, Invernahavon and Loch Ness, and now we head back to Pitlochry to hear the sounds of its creaking suspension bridge, about which Dan says: “Pitlochry Suspension Bridge focuses on the resonance of the bridge. Revealing the lower frequencies of the bridge and slowly morphing them into more melodic sonic material. This is how I imagine the bridge experiences sound as it runs through it.”
A big thanks to Dan for sending in these five sounds, and we hope to hear more from his travels soon!
