Cities & Memory on two albums for World Listening Day
Friday marked World Listening Day, a global celebration of field recording and listening to the world. We’re very happy to say that two separate Cities and Memory contributions are on two different albums marking how we listen to the world.
Our recording from the British Museum’s clock room is part of Sonic Terrain‘s compilation for World Listening Day exploring the dimensions of sound – alongside recordings from Italy, Finland, Mexico, Austria & more… read more & download the album for free from here.
Secondly, a brand new composition titled ‘A Memory of the Venice Biennale’ is included on a new album for World Listening Day byVacuaMœnia.net. It’s a composition based on a field recording by Jase Warner taken at the Arsenale in Venice. Listen to our track & download the whole album for free here.
You can stream both tracks below, but we recommend exploring the compilations to hear some more great sounds from around the world.
