Mimetik is an electronic music project based in Hamburg. Trained as a guitar player, he eventually discovered synthetizers and dataflow programming, which felt quickly as natural tools. Spanning various genres, from oniric soundscapes to more dance oriented music, his work has remarked features: moving piano melodies are interrupted by noises and quirky sounds, lush pads meet abrasive beats and field recordings, following the underlying concept that Perfection is never achieved.
