Be part of the first global sound map of protest

Our new collaborative sound project will be the first global sound map of protests, demonstrations and political activism – and every sound will be reimagined to create an alternative sound world of global politics.

You can be part of it by sending us a protest or political recording from anywhere in the world, or by reimagining or recomposing one of the recordings into a new piece.

All you have to do is get in touch below – we will be accepting field recordings until 12 June, and artists will reimagine the sounds from mid-June until mid-July.

If you’d like to send us a protest recording, send us an email – click here.

If you’re an artist who would like to reimagine a field recording from the project, email us by clicking here.

You can submit a field recording by:

  • Uploading it to our Dropbox using this link, or sending it to us via Wetransfer, Google Drive etc.
  • Filling in the details about your sound using this form.

And if you know anyone who has field recordings or would be interested in remixing a sound, please share this and spread the word – it’s a true global collaboration!
