Introducing our all-new global sound map
We’re very proud to unveil our new-look sound map today, which you can view in full on the homepage or on our sound map page.
The map covers 73 countries, with almost 2,000 field recordings and reimagined sounds from around the world.
As well as a new look, the map has some great new features – we can automatically generate bespoke sound maps for any city, country or contributor to the project.
If you’re a contributor who’d like to embed a map of your contributions to the project on your own website or promote it on social media, please just drop us a line.
Many thanks to Tim Waterfield at Kennebec for developing this new version of the sound map.
