We’re extremely saddened to hear the news that regular Cities and Memory contributor and friend of the project Michael Lilley passed away last week.
Not just a very regular – and highly imaginative – contributor to the project, we were also privileged to spend time with Michael at several of our London in-person meetups, where we found him to be a curious, warm and hugely engaging personality.
As a small tribute to Michael’s boundless creativity and enthusiasm, we’d like to present all of his contributions to Cities and Memory on this sound map dedicated to his work. Michael generously offered up no fewer than 20 compositions to the project, all of which are presented here.
