A CENTURY OF SOUNDS:LIVE HIGHLIGHTS
On Friday 27 February 2026 we launched the Century of Sounds project at the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford, taking over the museum for the evening - here are some of the highlights. The event was promoted with Oxford Contemporary Music.
The event featured seven live performances, two conversation panels with artists in conversation with the curatorial team, musical instrument handling and samplers loaded with recordings from the museum. The entire project was hosted in a "sound shower" installation that remains part of the Pitt Rivers collection.

A CENTURY OF SOUNDS:IN CONVERSATION
