The sounds labelled in red are field recordings, and those labelled in yellow are reimagined compositions – in Cities and Memory radio the sounds are served in pairs so you can hear the field recording, and then how the artist has recomposed it (where there is not an accompanying reimagined sound, the radio will simply move on to the next field recording). You can also see at a glance which of our projects any sound belongs to.

If you prefer to listen only to field recordings or only to compositions, you can filter by type using the dedicated buttons, or you can filter by individual sound projects in the dropdown menu too. Hit “reshuffle” to hear a completely new selection of sounds, and hit “all sounds” or “all projects” to reset your filters.
